Constructr extends the proof of concept within the original Contructr from the ASDEL project to include several new features:

  • Uses improved JQTI library
  • Take items from Minibix using the Maths taxonomy
  • Package as test and deposit back into Minibix

Currently, Constructr only showcases a very small part of the QTI specification with regards to what can be done in an assessment. For example, it cannot create adaptive tests, and only supports a very limited range of assessment attributes.

Constructr allows users to search an item-bank for items and assemble them into a complete test which can then be saved into a QTI content package. Constructr also integrates directly with playr and assessr, allowing assessments to be tested during construction, and then deployed to candidates. Constructr is powered by JQTI.
